Our Landscape Design Process
At Normark Landscapes we believe every great garden starts with a great landscape design. Our philosophy is, you cannot build a house without plans, so why would you build a garden without a design??
Our Melbourne landscape design service is a 3 step process:
- Design Consultation
- Concept Presentation
- Presentation of Final Design and with a No Obligation Quote
1. Design Consultation
To begin please ring, or contact us online, to arrange a consultation with our qualified landscape designer. At this consultation we will listen to your ideas for your perfect garden. Using our experience, we can provide advice on what will and won't work.
There is a small fee for this consultation, of which comes off the design price if you proceed after this consult. There is no obligation until you proceed with the design. Our designer will provide you with a quote for the cost of the design at this consultation.
Once agreed upon, the landscape design is then started. The design is completed on computer to eliminate any misunderstanding of messy hand sketches.
2. Concept Presentation
The second step is to present the concept landscape design to you. This landscape design is developed using all of the information given to us at the initial design consultation. At this stage you will have the opportunity to make minor changes to your liking.
A booklet displaying photos of plant choices is also presented so you can really visualise the garden taking shape.
3. Presentation of Final Design and No Obligation Quote
Once everything has been confirmed we will finalise your landscape design. The final design is presented to you with full specifications which includes plant lists, materials list and work methods. Along with this you will receive a detailed fixed price quote.
Once paid for, the landscape design is yours to do as you wish. You will then be able to get quotes from other landscape companies. However we hope you are comfortable with our service, and choose Normark to build your dream garden.
Landscape Construction
Once we finish the planning stage our crew of qualified tradesmen will commence work. As our employees have years of experience behind them, we pride ourselves on keeping a clean and organised site. Our foreman will regularly communicate progress and upcoming events. A weekly site meeting is held with you to keep everyone well informed.
